  help with a scripture from psalms

  i cannot find a scripture from psalms.

  my mind is drawing a blank this evening.

  the scripture speaks of a mere boy playing over the hole of a cobra and the wolf and the lamb will eat straw.

  I like snakes and want a boa, someday. If I was to ever have a venomous snake, I would have the fangs removed. I wonder if they would still try to bite, then. If so, I would only have a boa.

  That "bounty of spiritual food weighing down the table of Jehovah" made me want to go home and eat real food, especially if that phrase was used during the loooooonnnnngggggggg WT study. Man, was I starving by then. Jehovah's table sure wasn't satisfying me.

  Think of your kids. They need you to set a good example. Think about what will happen to them if you quit! I think of that sickening voice of Miriam going AHHH AHHH!!!! Leprosy, AHHH!!!! on the old 1980's Moses and the wilderness casette tape. Remember?

  what, if anything, makes circumcision less of a mutilation than fgm?.

  Hahaha, denial of pain. Geez, if babies felt no pain, they wouldn't cry from a heel stick for vitamin K and they wouldn't scream horribly during the circumcision. If fish didn't feel pain, they wouldn't flop around on the line trying to get away from the source of the pain. Yeah, that is a myth. I hope people don't still believe it.

  I would never subject my newborn baby to such horrible pain, whether he would remember it or not. What kind of parent would want to do that? The Israelites were commanded by "god" to do it. What is the real excuse? I say don't mess with nature. If you are born with it, it was meant to be there. It is not a birth defect that needs to be fixed. My son has never had a problem, ever. Why alter little baby boys? Why make a life long decision for another person? Medical science has found that the once thought useless appendix is now actually useful.

  my husband asked me a questions that kind of stumped me for a moment.

  he asked, in genesis, when cain killed abel, and god, as punishment cursed him and drove him from the land, making him a restless wanderer, why did cain say to god that the punishment was too hard; that anyone who found him would kill him?

  Wow, that's deep. Just shows more disharmony of the Bible and that it is not to be counted on for more than simple life lessons, that is if you can get past all the blood flowing from god's order.
